New York Art Competition

All visual artists whose work can be viewed successfully on line. This is an international call out for you. Exhibition will take place in
April 2011.

Charlatan Ink Art Prize is set to be a biennial event with 2011 being the first, the theme for this year is 'Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?'100 artists’ works will be pre-selected to be Semi-finalists and will be displayed on Charlatan Ink’s Website together with the artist’s biographical details. Announcement of 25 finalists will be posted on charlatanink.com after the 15th of April 2011. In the first year judging will be done via the Internet. Judges will judge works without the knowledge of the artist’s name, thereby assuring total impartiality. There will be 3 prizes and a Charlatan Ink Art Prize Exhibition.

1st Prize £15,650, 2nd Prize Charlatan Ink Encouragement Prize, which includes a 6 week artist residency at the Carlton Arms Hotel, a Canon G11 Camera and £625.3rd Prize 12 month hosting of portfolio on Charlatan Ink website. The only fee you have to pay is £32 per application
